Frequently asked questions

Go ahead, ask. Or rather: here are the answers.

The questions everyone asks us, answered the way we would answer a friend. If yours is not here, a coffee is the right place for it.

Projects and prices.

How much does a business website cost?
It depends on how many pages and features you need, on who produces the content, and on how much customisation you want — and we are one of the few studios that publish the ranges: you will find them on our pricing page. The quote you receive is fixed, itemised line by line, and holds no surprises. The first conversation is always free.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes: the first meeting and the quote cost nothing. For more complex projects we offer an in-depth assessment with a prototype — that is real work and it has a price, which is deducted in full if the project goes ahead with us.
How long does it take to deliver a website?
A brochure site typically takes 4–8 weeks from the moment the content is ready; an e-commerce site or a web app takes longer. We set the timeline together in the quote, tailored to the project — and then we keep to it.
Do you only work in the Milan area?
No: our base is Lissone, in Brianza just north of Milan, but we work with clients across Italy and abroad — in the United States and in Europe, for example. Closeness, for us, is a way of working rather than a matter of geography.
Can I pay in instalments or by phase?
Projects are organised in phases, with payments tied to milestones: you always know what you are paying for and what you get in return, step by step.
Will the website really be mine?
Yes — and it is a question worth asking anyone: the domain is registered in your name, the site is your property, the credentials are in your hands. If one day you decide to change supplier, you leave with your website — and that, paradoxically, is one of the reasons clients stay.
What does it cost to maintain a website after launch?
Updates, security, backups and small fixes come with a clear monthly fee, proportionate to the type of site. It costs little; discovering it was not there — at the first problem — costs a great deal more.

The method.

How does the first meeting work?
A coffee and a conversation: you tell us about the business, we work out the real need and the goals. No sales pitch, no commitment. From there we decide together whether and how to start.
Who works on my project?
Alessio Cerizzi coordinates every project and stays your single point of contact. Behind him is a team of specialists chosen for the job at hand: always the right skill, never the compromise of one person doing everything.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
Yes, as a professional tool: it raises quality and speed where that makes sense, with human control over everything. Not to work less — to work better. And it is never a shortcut to cookie-cutter content.
What happens after delivery?
We do not disappear: support, updates and maintenance plans keep the project alive. Go-live is a beginning, not an end.
Do you also do 3D modelling and rendering?
Yes, and it is one of the things that sets us apart: 3D models, photorealistic images and videos of products and projects that do not exist yet. For ST Service, for instance, we have been building special vehicles and fit-outs in 3D since 2018, so the client approves the render before anything is built. You will find the case study in our work.
Who writes the copy for my website?
If you already have it, we review it; if you do not, we write it — with Jenny Carbone, our content consultant. For those who only want a hand with existing copy there are also fixed-price packages, from €99: they are on the content consulting page.

Technology, WordPress and e-commerce.

WordPress or a custom-built site?
It depends on the project: WordPress when you need autonomy and a quick turnaround, custom when performance, uniqueness or unusual features matter. We use both, so the advice you get from us is not self-serving. We have written a full guide about it in our Notes.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
If you want to, yes: we design the admin area so it can be used by the people who live with the site every day, and we train you on it. Alternatively, we handle the updates for you.
Do you build e-commerce sites?
Yes, mainly with WooCommerce: catalogues, payments, shipping, integrations. And since 28 June 2025 B2C e-commerce sites in the EU also have accessibility obligations: we know them well, and we have built a dedicated service around them.
Will the site be fast and work on phones?
Yes: mobile-first and performance are delivery requirements, not optional extras. A slow site loses customers before it is even read.
Can you also build a management system or a web app?
Yes: when a website is not enough, we build the tool. BJJSquare — our platform for the Brazilian jiu-jitsu world, with 2,700+ gyms in 90 countries — is the proof that we do not just say it.

Visibility: SEO, Google and AI.

Will a new website get me found on Google?
The site is the foundation: sound structure, speed, content that answers the searches people in your area actually make. Everything else is built on top: a well-kept Google listing, reviews, content. No promises of 'first on Google in a week' — anyone who makes them is lying.
Do you also look after the Google Business Profile?
Yes: it is half the local game. The right category, photos, services, reviews and updates — we look after it as part of your online presence, not as an accessory.
What changes now that people ask AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini)?
More and more people ask AI assistants instead of Google. Getting cited requires content structured in a particular way: direct answers, verifiable facts, focused pages. We do it for our own site and for our clients.
Do you manage social media too?
Yes: strategy before posts, content drawn from the real work (projects, clients, behind the scenes), full management or support alongside your team. Posting without a strategy is not marketing, it is noise.
Do you do photography, video and drone footage?
Yes, produced in-house: photo shoots, corporate video and aerial footage with a licensed pilot. From a tulip field shot from above to a product video, the material stays yours — ready for the website, social and print.

AI, training and seasonal projects.

Can you help us use AI in our company?
Yes: we do not sell tool subscriptions, we build workflows. You start from a task that eats your time, you measure it, you try a route through AI and you look at the result. Training and hands-on support are tailored — and for many Italian companies they can be funded through the interprofessional training funds.
Will AI write my content instead of you?
No: here AI speeds up drafts and repetitive work, but every piece of content that goes out has a human mind on top of it. That is the difference between using a tool professionally and publishing cookie-cutter noise — and it shows.
What is BuonAvvento?
Your company's digital advent calendar: 24 days of branded content to keep your customers' attention alive through December. Three formats, from a ready-to-publish kit to an interactive calendar that collects leads. Orders close in November: the details are on the BuonAvvento page.

Digital compliance.

Does my website have to be accessible by law?
If you sell online to consumers (B2C) and you are above one of these thresholds — 10 employees or €2 million turnover — then yes, since 28 June 2025. If you are a micro-enterprise below both thresholds you are exempt from the obligation, but environmental claims and AI transparency apply to everyone. On our site you will find a free self-assessment test.
Is an accessibility widget enough to become compliant?
No: the Italian AgID guidelines of March 2026 forbid the tracking of assistive technologies, which is exactly what overlays do. In the United States the FTC fined accessiBe $1 million for unfounded claims. Real compliance goes through the code.
What is the Digital Check-up?
A complete human review of your site across four axes — accessibility, environmental claims, AI transparency, performance — with a 20–30 page report, a remediation plan and a call. It costs €1,200 + VAT, deducted in full from the quote if you entrust the remediation to us within 60 days.
